  • CyberJutsu:  Its mission is to advance women in Cybersecurity. Membership is women in the Information Security field or wanting to enter the field. Cyber Justsu offers trainings, workshops, study groups, classes, mentoring, networking, internship/job placement assistance and resource-sharing, and opportunities.
  • DCFemTech: A collective of 25+ DC/metro WIT orgs who collaborate and streamline events. DCFemTech does Code & Coffee social events.
  • DC PyLadies: A group for Python ladies of all levels of programming experience.
  • DC Web Women: Committed to the support and advocacy of women and girls in technology by providing a community in which they can develop, nurture, and promote their leadership, technical and professional skills.
  • DC Women in Agile: For women and girls working in the IT community as agile practitioners.
  • Federal SharePoint User Group and Women in SharePoint DC: A  community for the Federal Government civilian agencies, military users, and contractors to discuss and collaborate on SharePoint best practices and evolving technologies.
  • Girl Develop It DC: Focuses on coding, leveraging existing technology, and having something to show for it.
  • International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners: IAMCP kicked off a WIT chapter in DC and plans to encourage more women to enter tech through advocacy, education, and events.
  • Ladies Who Code: Meets at least 1x per month to hack on projects, give casual 5-minute lightning talks, ask technical questions, and brainstorm ideas.
  • Lesbians Who Tech DC: A Community of Queer Women in or around tech (and the people who love them).
  • NoVA Tech Women: NoVA Tech Women serves women in the Northern Virginia area who are working or aspiring to work in the tech industry
  • Rails Girls DC: Its mission is to give tools and a community for women to understand technology and to reach their ideas.
  • Women Who Code DCFocuses on providing women with tangible programming skills to expand their career opportunities.
