Women Who Tech is on a mission to fund women-led startups. Through our Women Startup Challenges, which we have been held in Washington, DC at 1776, New York at Microsoft, and San Francisco at LinkedIn, we have brought together the best early-stage, women-led startups using tech to rapidly scale and innovate. What’s next?
CITY HALL, LONDON – MAY 3, 2017
The fifth Women Startup Challenge will be the first-ever international competition.
The challenge, held in partnership with Craig Newmark of craigslist and the Craig Newmark Philanthropic Fund, is open to women-led tech startups across all verticals in Europe.
The 10 best applicants will be selected to pitch their startups to a panel of judges, May 3, 2017, on stage at London’s City Hall.
GOOGLE, NEW YORK CITY – FEBRUARY 15, 2017
The fourth Women Startup Challenge, in partnership with Craig Newmark of craigslist, the Craig Newmark Foundation, and sponsored in part by Fred and Joanne Wilson, showcased and funded innovative, women-led startups focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Artificial Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR) that are solving problems for people, businesses, and the planet.
The 10 best AI, AR, and VR women-led startup applicants from across the U.S. were selected to pitch their startup on stage in front of our distinguished judging panel of investors and hundreds of attendees at Google in New York City on February 15, 2017. Prizes included $50,000 in cash and startup friendly services.
Women Who Tech has hosted three previous Women Startup Challenges, connecting women-led startups with more than $1 million in prizes, crowdfunded dollars, and investments.
